What does it mean to us that Advent is the beginning of a new year in the Christian calendar?  What makes this beginning distinct from the beginning of the secular new year, and how do we make room for it during this busy season?  

In this Online Oasis, we will explore these questions and wonder together about how cultivating a "beginner's mind” might help us turn the corner into something new.  We will create space for you to get in touch with a place in your life where you have a longing to begin again and listen for what God might to say to you in the midst of that longing.
